Text Messaging Terms & Conditions

Program description

When you consent, you will receive text messages from Hope & Compassion Ministries, including appointment reminders, appointment updates, and occasional ministry announcements relevant to the people we serve.

How you opt in

You opt in to the program by giving consent verbally or on a paper intake form when you begin working with the ministry. Ministry staff record your consent and add you to the system on your behalf — we never collect numbers or send messages to anyone who has not already given consent and been entered by staff. After you are added, you will receive a confirmation text. Your consent is confirmed either verbally at intake or by replying YES to that text. You can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time.

Message frequency

You can expect to receive approximately 2–6 messages per month, depending on your appointments.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Hope & Compassion Ministries does not charge for these messages, but your mobile carrier's standard message and data rates may apply.

How to opt out

You can cancel the text messaging service at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further messages unless you opt in again.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

We respect your privacy. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any third party for their own commercial or marketing purposes. All information we collect is for internal use only. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.
